Commitment to addressing and activating young people

The organizing committee of the FIS Freestyle World Championship 2025 informed its sponsors at a meeting about the current status of preparations and the next steps. The event took place in an inspiring setting at the Spinnerei event location in Emmenbrücke and provided sponsors and other invited partners with an opportunity to exchange updates on the progress and to focus on the shared goal of reaching a young, emerging generation.

Swiss Ski athletes Larissa Gasser and Saskja Lack had the chance to express their excitement about the upcoming event and to report on the status of preparations. Their enthusiasm and motivation were palpable. “It would be my greatest dream to stand on the podium at the World Championships in Engadin in just under a year,” said Larissa Gasser.

Representatives of the presenting partner Sunrise and the official partners Repower, Helvetia, Opel, and Focus Water, as well as Engadin Tourism, had the opportunity to explain their motivation for supporting the World Championships and the shared goal of rejuvenating guest and customer segments through the emotional appeal of expressive freestyle and its associated lifestyle. All of them share the desire to support the freestyle competitions, particularly the entertainment and festival aspects, and to carry the spirit of the event into the future beyond the World Championships. The organizing committee of the FIS Freestyle World Championship 2025, said, “We are grateful for the support of our sponsors as well as from the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities in Upper Engadin. We are still in discussions with some potential partners, whom we will announce shortly.”
