Golden Highlights in Halfpipe and Aerials: The Final Freestyle World Champions of 2025 Crowned

On the final competition day of the FIS Freestyle World Championships 2025 in St. Moritz Engadin, the last world championship titles were awarded in the disciplines of Freeski Halfpipe and Aerials. Athletes delivered outstanding performances, making for a spectacular conclusion to the championship.

Halfpipe
Britain’s Zoe Atkin delivered an outstanding performance in the women’s final, securing the gold medal in front of the Swiss crowd. Li Fanghui from China claimed silver, while Canada’s Cassie Sharpe took home the bronze medal. In the men’s event, New Zealander Finley Melville Ives took the top spot with a technically demanding run. Nick Goepper from the USA earned silver, while his compatriot Alex Ferreira secured the bronze medal.

The newly crowned world champion from New Zealand was overjoyed: “I’m so excited and grateful for the pipe, the weather, and for all the fans who came out today.”

Aerials
In the Aerials competition, American Kaila Kuhn delivered a nearly flawless performance to claim the women’s world championship title. Xu Mengtao (China) won silver, while Australia’s Danielle Scott took bronze. In the men’s event, Switzerland celebrated a double podium: Noe Roth secured first place, while Pirmin Werner claimed third. The silver medal went to American Quinn Dehlinger.

"The best jump of my career – everything just came together. I had a good feeling all day," said the Swiss world champion.
