Helly Hansen Kids Day - World Cup magic for children

On this cold Sunday morning, the Signalbahn parking lot in St. Moritz is still quiet as more and more excited children gradually arrive. They have been waiting for this day for a long time: to be right there when the fastest female ski racers whizz speed the Corviglia. Helly Hansen has invited them to the Kids Day at the FIS Ski World Cup in St. Moritz.

Arriving at the Salastrains finish area, the first highlight awaits them. The mascot, Moritz, greets the young ski fans and accompanies them to breakfast. Afterwards, the second Super-G of the race weekend in St. Moritz was scheduled to begin, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. Heavy snowfall made it impossible to prepare a safe slope.

However, the lively group of children doesn't let this dampen their spirits and takes the opportunity to explore various areas that would otherwise be inaccessible during the races with LOC-president Robin Miozzari. They try out the leader's chairlift in the finish area, cheer loudly from the stands, and take selfies with Moritz.

Refreshed by lunch, they enjoy a meet and greet with Norwegian ski stars Ragnhild Mowinckel, two-time Olympic silver medalist, and Kajsa Lie, World Cup winner. The children burst with excitement – they get autographs, ask many questions, and listen intently as the two top athletes recount their races.

Back in St. Moritz, the children are probably tired, but happy and full of new impressions. And who knows, perhaps even with new ambitions and role models in skiing. The shining eyes of the children when they tell their parents about their Helly Hansen Kids Day adventure suggest that this day will be remembered for a long time.
