High Jumps and Spectacular Twists in the Aerials: Team USA Takes Gold

The Aerials Mixed Team Finals delivered breathtaking jumps and high emotions. In perfect conditions on Corviglia, Team USA triumphed decisively, securing the gold medal.

The competition format added extra excitement: Each team consisted of three athletes. In the first round, each athlete performed one jump, and the sum of their individual scores determined the team's result. Only the top four teams advanced to the final, where another jump from each athlete determined the overall winner.

With impressive technique, Kaila Kuhn, Quinn Dehlinger, and Christopher Lillis from the USA claimed the well-deserved victory. The team from Ukraine, consisting of Anhelina Brykina, Oleksandr Okipniuk, and Dmytro Kotovskyi, won the silver, while Lina Kozomara, Noe Roth, and Pirmin Werner, together with the Swiss fans, celebrated bronze.

"This is my first team event with my two teammates, and I’m beyond thrilled to have landed the triple," says Kaila Kuhn. The experienced Christopher Lillis is also excited – he didn’t want to let his teammates down and gave it his all to help his team secure the gold.
