Opening Ceremony: The ultimate show

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 6 p.m., the FIS Freestyle World Championships kick off with an opening ceremony that will thrill you. Get ready for an unforgettable mix of music, action, and show!

Stress MTV Unplugged meets the versatile singer-songwriter and professional snowboarder Pat Burgener. There will also be an exclusive excerpt from "Flying Bach," the spectacular dance show by the Flying Steps, which combines breakdancing and classical music in a unique way. The talented Cimbaly artist Valentina Batura will captivate the audience with her silvery sounds! And last but not least: Marc Tschanz, the exceptional Schwyzerörgeli artist, delivers the perfect fusion of tradition and modern sound with his "handörgeli meets DJ sounds" set, giving folk music a fresh kick!

The whole experience will be accompanied by image sequences that take you on a journey through the freestyle history of the Engadine. Renowned pioneers of the freestyle sport will be celebrated on stage!
