Skiing holiday in spring? There are many good reasons for this. One of them is firn snow. Two more: Corvatsch and Sils. Erich Bauer and Thomas Strittmatter are experts in firn fun. When the two of them get going, there's no stopping them. Just like on the slopes.

Downhill runs to recharge your batteries "Firn and spring go together like Thomas and I do," laughs Erich. The Frankfurt native, who has been coming to Sils for over forty years, is addicted to Sils' local mountain, Furtschellas/Corvatsch, and its pistes. Especially in spring. "When the days get longer, that's when the real skiing enjoyment begins for me. The light, the quality of the pistes and the view of the lake region. All unique. I can really recharge my batteries there."
