Thrilling PGS Finals

On the challenging Corviglia course, the world's best alpine snowboarders showed off their skills and delivered high-class and exciting competitions.

In the women's event, Czech Ester Ledecka secured the gold medal, followed by Japanese Tsubaki Micki and Polish Aleksandra Krol-Walas. The Italian Roland Fischnaller prevailed in the men's final. German Stefan Baumeister secured silver, and South Korean Sangho Lee won bronze.

"I've been able to prepare well over the last few days and I'm very happy with the slope," explained the newly crowned men's world champion. The Czech athlete also expressed her satisfaction with her season so far: "I'm very happy to be back on the board - I'll always be a snowboarder at heart."
