Winter Study Trip - December 2024

To ensure that this trip to the Engadine started with an unforgettable experience, we organized the Stiva Retica of the Rhaetian Railway. In this authentic special carriage made of Swiss stone pine, guests were able to immerse themselves in the archaic mountain landscape during the journey from Chur to St. Moritz.

When they arrived in Pontresina, the group was welcomed to the Saratz Hotel with an exquisite dinner and a gin tasting with over 120 different varieties.

The next day began with a tour of the Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina and the Cresta Palace Celerina. There, the guests were personally greeted and delighted by head chef Neng Boppart in the “Asia 75” restaurant.

Friday evening was entirely dedicated to the theme of Swissness. The trip took off with a fondue at 2753 m above sea level in the middle station of the Corvatsch. Following this culinary experience, the ski season began with the legendary Snow Night, which included a stop for mulled wine in the Alpetta Hut. For après-ski, the Nira Alpina served up a modern rooftop bar and showed the participants other options for business groups during the hotel tour. On Saturday, it was back to the slopes. This time to the Corviglia area above St. Moritz. Lunch in the White Marmot restaurant of Engadin St. Moritz Mountain AG was a real treat. Especially as the view of the mountain landscape is almost breathtaking.

Before toasting the fantastic day of skiing with après-ski on the Hauser Terrace in the heart of St. Moritz, the participants had the opportunity to visit the 5* Superior Hotel Grace La Margna. The exciting insight into the history of bobsleighing during a visit to the Cresta & Bob Museum, followed by dinner in the new Scala Restaurant, rounded off this eventful trip.

After a restful night in the historic Hotel Reine Victoria in St. Moritz Bad, the participants began their journey home and will hopefully talk about this varied study trip for a long time to come and return soon with their groups.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners for their good cooperation, without whom such a trip would not be possible.
