Corviglia / Salastrains, St. Moritz

The discipline Aerials is also known as Ski Acrobatics. Aerials impresses with breathtaking jumps and artistic tricks in the air. Freestyle Ski athletes launch themselves from perfected ramps up to 15 meters high, performing complex rotations and flips. Judging is based on speed, precision, height, difficulty, and style of the jumps and tricks. There are two ramps: a triple jump ramp, where triple flips are performed, and a double jump ramp, where double flips are possible. Each jump has a predetermined level of difficulty. The score for a jump is determined by multiplying the difficulty points by the execution points.

Disciplines: Aerials Women/Men (AE), Aerials Mixed Team (AET)
