FIS European Cup Moguls & Dual Moguls Engadine

An FIS Moguls European Cup took place on Corviglia from 6 to 10 March 2023. Europe's young moguls competed in two competitions. This event also served the OC of the Freestyle World Championships 2025 as an important test with regard to the Freestyle World Championships 2025. Accordingly, one of the main focuses of these test events was to intensify the cooperation with the mountain railways and external partners as well as to refine the interaction within the team.

"Thanks to the close cooperation, we are moving closer together and can benefit from each other, which is enormously important in view of the fact that the Freestyle World Championships will already take place in two years' time."
Daniel Schaltegger, CEO of the Freestyle World Championships 2025 St. Moritz Engadin.

Date: 8/9 March 2023

Venue: Corviglia, Engadine

The programme of the FIS Freestyle Ski European Cup included a Moguls competition for women and men (7 March 2023) as well as a Dual Moguls competition (8 March 2023). The Swiss Moguls and Dual Moguls champions were chosen at the same time as part of the European Cup. More on this below.

Moguls Swiss Championships instead of Airolo in St. Moritz

Originally, the Swiss Championships were to have taken place in Moguls in Airolo. However, due to the poor snow conditions there, they were integrated into the European Cup competitions in St. Moritz without further ado. The Swiss team leader Marco Tadé was crowned Swiss champion in both Moguls and Dual Moguls. Tadé finished the European Cup in St. Moritz, which serves as a test event for the 2025 Freestyle World Championships in the Engadine, once in second place (Moguls) and once in third place (Dual Moguls).
