Snowboard Alpine Parallel Giant Slalom

In the parallel slalom, the alpine snowboard athletes compete against each other on two identical courses. After one run, the sides are swapped to ensure fair conditions for all participants. In the qualification, all athletes complete a timed run. The best 16 qualify and then compete against each other in the knockout system. In the parallel slalom, the athletes use shorter boards than in the giant slalom, as the distance between the gates is shorter.
